Microsoft Word for the Web
Word for the Web: A Hands-On Course for Everyday
Professionals teaches adult learners how to get real work done in the browser
version of Microsoft Word, no desktop app required. Through practical,
modernized projects, writing a research paper on working alongside AI, drafting
a professional business letter with a custom letterhead and table, and
designing a title page with lists and tables for a proposal, participants build
genuinely useful documents while learning the smart workarounds for features the
web version handles differently (or not at all). Each session blends a
step-by-step guided lab, real-world tips, a warm-up game, reflection questions,
and a scored quiz, all delivered in clear, approachable language for learners
of any experience level. Whether for work, school, or personal projects, this
course leaves attendees confident and self-sufficient in using Word for the
Web.
