ATI Everyday Workplace Communication is an important course for TANF participants. Communicating clearly and effectively is one of the fastest ways to stand out at work—and it’s a skill that can be learned and strengthened. In this course, participants build practical communication tools they can use immediately: sharing ideas clearly, giving constructive feedback, and handling disagreements in a way that protects trust and working relationships.
We also cover core interpersonal concepts such as self-disclosure, the communication climate we create with others, and the key competencies that support collaboration, conflict resolution, and relationship-building in the workplace. By the end, participants will communicate with more confidence, clarity, and professionalism skills that directly support job success and long-term retention.
Our Financial Literacy course is very valuable for TANF participants. The course helps our learners build real-world money skills, so they feel more in control, no matter what the economy is doing or what life throws their way. ATI participants will learn to set clear financial goals, create a budget that fits their lifestyle, and build an emergency fund to protect their future.
Financial literacy is also a pathway to stronger families. We explore how money knowledge connects to economic well-being and poverty reduction, and how participants can apply these skills to create meaningful change through education, capacity building, skills transfer, and advocacy.
By the end, participants won’t just know more, they’ll have practical tools they can use immediately to protect themselves from fraud, make smarter financial choices, plan for the long term, and build lasting resilience. Because when you build skills, you build security.
Our Professional Etiquette for the Workplace training teaches that etiquette isn’t about being “formal” it’s about being other-centered: the daily attitudes and behaviors that shape a person’s reputation, strengthen relationships, and support a respectful, productive workplace. Participants learn practical, real-world courtesies such as punctuality, gratitude, tact, and professionalism at TANF, academic or work events that prevent misunderstandings, reduce conflict, and build trust with case workers, case advocates, classmates and coworkers.
Whether someone is entering the workforce or stepping into leadership, participants will leave with clear strategies to communicate with dignity and empathy, demonstrate accountability, and present themselves as dependable professionals—qualities employers consistently value and reward.
